Permits are required before beginning construction or expansion projects. Inspections are done
throughout the process from the start of the project to the final inspection.
No business license or certificate of occupancy will be issued until final
inspection is passed.
As of July 1, 2008, any job (residential or commercial) over $2,500 must be
done by a state licensed contractor. Certain stipulations apply when a licensed
contractor is not necessary.
Before starting any job, call our office to see if a permit is required.
