The City Clerk is the official custodian of the city seal and responsible for maintaining accurate records of proceedings of the City Council meetings and publishes public notices as required by law. The City Clerk serves as custodian of all contracts, deeds, ordinances, resolutions and City records. The City Clerk attends all meetings of the Mayor and Council and takes the official minutes of these meetings. The City Clerk is responsible for preparing the following:
